Joseph obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College in 1983 and obtained his law degree three years later from Seton Hall University School of Law. He was licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey in 1986 and practiced in New Jersey for a well known plaintiffs' law firm for approximately two years before relocating to Southern California. In New Jersey, Joseph handled a wide-range of personal injury and worker’s compensation cases.

Joseph has been practicing law in California since being admitted to the California State Bar in 1988. Joseph initially practiced law in the State of California as an Associate Attorney with the prestigious law firm of Magaña, Cathcart, McCarthy & Pierry. While with the Magaña firm, Joseph was exposed to a wide range of cases from injuries to longshore workers and car crash victims, to complex products liability and roadway design cases. Joseph went on to practice as an Associate Attorney with the law firm Pierry & Moorhead, LLP, and then became a partner in Pierry, Moorhead, McAdams & Shenoi, LLP, before establishing Pierry Law Firm. Pierry Law Firm continues to handle catastrophic and complex personal injury cases, and has extensive experience handling lawsuits against governmental entities.
